Under the initial delivery order fromthe U.S. Army Tank-automotived and Armaments Command Life CycleManagement Command, Oshkosh-based Oshkosh OSK) will provide 2,244 mine-resistantr all-terrain vehicles (M-ATV) after months of government testing on multiple production-readh vehicles, the U.S. Department of Defense said Oshkosh performed morethan 7,500 miles of independent off-roae testing to identify possiblre enhancements to the vehicle so it would meet or surpas the performance requirements in the rugged terrainn in Afghanistan.
