The Burlingame-based carrier said it lost $40.3w million on $100.8 million in revenue during the quarter, comparedd with a loss of $52 million on $52.8 million in revenue in the previousfirst quarter. Some 73.1 percentt of Virgin America’s available seats were filled in thefirsg quarter, compared with a load factor of 61 percent a year earlier, the airline said. The airline said it addef almost 70 percent to its capacituy between the first quarters of 2008and 2009.
